I learned about the #EatToTheFullest photo contest hosted by Tamago Magazine, a free food and travel magazine distributed at BTS stations. The contest encouraged participants to submit photos of their enjoyable eating experiences. I decided to join the fun and attended the award ceremony.
The event features a wide variety of vendors offering a diverse selection of products, including food, household items, jewelry, hotel stays, and unique DIY creations.

"TAMAGO Snapshot 2018 #Eat to the fullest" is a project that aims to see Thai people smile and enjoy their favorite dishes. Participating is simple: just use your phone or any camera to take a picture of yourself posing while eating, capturing the feeling of pure deliciousness.
The deadline for submissions was between May and July 20, 2018. Over 600 entries were received, making the selection process extremely challenging for the judges due to the high quality, creativity, and humor of the submitted photographs.
Opening Remarks by the Host
The judging criteria prioritize the emotional impact of the photograph, emphasizing the feeling of happiness and conveying a sense of extreme pleasure. The photograph should evoke smiles and bring joy to the viewer.
Images selected by the committee
The first-place winner will receive a cash prize of 20,000 baht. The second-place winners (two in total) will each receive a cash prize of 5,000 baht. The remaining 20 finalists will receive dining vouchers worth 3,000 baht from renowned restaurants, including Oishi Japanese Restaurants, Suea Thai Restaurant, U&I Premium Suki Buffet, Tatsumi Japanese Cuisine, and Ping's Hotpot.
Based on the evaluation and scoring of the five special judges on July 13, 2018, led by Kru Biew, also known as Aropan Acharasmarn, the executive and founder of Act-Things Studio, an acting teacher who has been behind many film, advertising, TV series, and stage productions. Kavin Thongsumboon, head photographer of Gourmet & Cuisine Magazine, @Kitchen Magazine, and Tamago Free Magazine, a photography expert with extensive experience, especially in the field of food photography, in which he is highly skilled.
The event also features a prize prediction contest.
