In the wet season like this, no one would rather go out to travel. However, I believe if we go the right place at the right time, the place will definitely become even more fascinating. You can follow me here https://www.facebook.com/forforpatiew and IG : fahhpawa

Kanchanaburi is one of the most popular travelers' destinations in rainy season as the atmosphere along the river and in the mountains are so incredibly attractive. I was going to reach there by train from Thonburi to Nam Tok but there is the rail maintenance service on the way from Nong Pladuk to Kanchanaburi. So, I choose to travel by van from the Victory Monument instead and leave the train for next time. I leave Bangkok at 9.00 in the morning and arrive Kanchanaburi town around 11 a.m. The van fare costs only 130 baht and you can get off wherever you'd like. The van usually stops at the last station in the town. After I get to Kanchanaburi, the resort has sent me a van to take me to visit interesting spots around the town.

After that, we get to the Pung-Waan Resort and Spa Kwai Yai. I really appreciate the invitation to visit here. Everybody here takes care of me very well throughout this trip.

We have got a room number 201, a deluxe room with river view.

There are 4 room types in the resort: Superior, Deluxe, Spa Deluxe, and Suite. All the rooms have similar style and decorations but different in term of sizes and views.

A superior room with garden view.

A spa deluxe room

A suite

Moreover, there are plenty of activities available in the resort, such as swimming, cycling, and doing traditional Thai massage.

Early in the morning, we wake up and have breakfast at the resort. Thai food, Salad, and American breakfast are provided for guests to enjoy just like any other resorts and hotels.

In general,

- The resort staff here provides excellent service for all the guests. They completely work with service minds.

- They have got wonderful natural environment surrounded with extremely spacious woody space located along the river.

- The resort can respond to the demand for conference or tour groups since there are so many rooms available to accommodate more than 200 people with great meeting facilities.

- It is not difficult to get here as it is located not too far from the River Kwai Bridge. If you come here by public transportation, you can contact the resort for the pick-up service from the bus station and tourist attractions in the town.
